🎙️ This week on Discussion Combustion Podcast, we're excited to welcome back our friend Alec Henkelman for his third appearance on the show!
🪖 Alec is the owner of High Country Armory, a veteran of the 82nd Airborne, firearms instructor, entrepreneur, and someone who has helped countless people (including Arthur!) develop confidence and skill through responsible firearms training. After serving in Iraq, Alec built High Country Armory into a respected Denver business focused on education, customer service, and community.
📈 This episode dives into Alec's continued growth as a business owner, but we also discuss a challenge facing many local businesses. With the Denver Broncos pursuing plans for a new stadium district, businesses operating in the area (including High Country Armory) have been impacted by rising costs and uncertainty surrounding future development.
🤝 We believe strong communities are built when growth creates opportunities for everyone. If major development projects require local businesses to relocate, there should be a path that supports both progress and the entrepreneurs who have invested years into the neighborhood.
🏘️🏟️ Growth and development are important, but so are the local businesses, veterans, and community members who help make Denver what it is today.
🔥 Most importantly, this is a great conversation between friends covering business, discipline, service, community, and what it means to stand behind the people who help make Denver great.
🎧 Tune in and join the conversation!
